The ROCEPA has published and executed “The Necessary Measures for Reducing the Amounts of Pollutants out of the Runoff Pollution and Washed-off Soil from Construction Sites and Land of Earth Work & Filled-soil” on July 1, 2001. This project has examined 300 construction sites and landfill sites that had reported on the projects of reducing runoff pollution, and has calculated the TSS reduction rate as 86.86%, The TSS of production as 312,631.84 tons/year and the amount of removal as 271,552.02 tons/year. In addition, this project has accomplished proposing the managerial institution and establishing the database of building sites of construction. Due to the impact upon the waterbodies from petrochemical and chemical industries, amusement parks, coalbunkers, and industries who have coalbunkers that do not execute source control, the ROCEPA will conduct the aforesaid industries to execute the management of runoff pollution. This project has investigated 40 companies of aforesaid industries, proposed the modification of promulgation draft, finished the inspection manual for the responsible agencies at all government levels, and established the database of industries.
